How to fix gaps, or white lines in the printer output?
Last Updated 8 years ago

What printer make and model are you printing to exactly?

With inkjet printers, these white lines are caused by clogged nozzles that aren’t dispensing ink. You can try cleaning your print heads through the printer driver software, if available. Many times, this will require a few cleanings. For more information on how to do this, please consult the printer manual or manufacturer. If that doesn't fix it, you may need to replace the cartridge(s) or replace the printer.

With laser printers, this can be caused by issues with the printer driver itself. SureThing reads in the printer resolution
from the printer driver, and if this is incorrect from the true resolution, there may be gaps in the printout. There are a few fixes for this, but the easiest is as follows. Close SureThing, and in Windows Explorer, browse to the SureThing program directory. In the SureThing folder, you will see a folder named PrintAddOn. Right click on this folder, hit Rename, and rename it to PrintAddonBackup and hit Enter. Now try printing from SureThing again.
